Turdees or Winoes

Ingredients

  • 11 C flour
  • 14 eggs
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 1/3 C white wine
  • 1/2 C vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 C honey

Directions

  • Mix until stiff enough to handle.
  • Shape, fry in 1 qt hot vegetable oil until brown.
  • Let cool.
  • Bring 1 qt honey and 1 cup sugar to boil.
  • Dip turdees in this mixture.
