Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 C butter
• 1 C vegetable oil
• 1 C powdered sugar
• 1 C sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 4 C flour
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cream of tartar

Directions

• Cream butter, oil and both sugars.
• Add vanilla and beaten eggs.
• Sift dry ingredients and stir into mixture.
• Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
• Press down lightly with glass dipped in sugar.
• Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
